Ronan Nangle | Managing Director

The Visionary. Ronan is the driving force behind our modern evolution. Taking the helm from his parents in 2008 and becoming sole owner in 2016, Ronan combines a deep respect for our heritage with a forward-thinking approach to commercial tree growing. With a background that spans every inch of the business—from the mud of the nursery fields to the intricacies of landscape design—he understands the unique pressures our clients face. Ronan ensures that Nangle & Niesen remains synonymous with quality, fostering relationships with Ireland’s top landscape architects and contractors.

Andrew Kelly | Production Manager

The Master Grower. Since joining us in 1994, Andrew has become the custodian of our quality. A graduate of An Grianan College with international experience at Europe's elite nurseries, Andrew’s knowledge of tree physiology is unmatched. He treats every tree as an individual, understanding exactly what it needs to reach "specimen" status. Andrew is also our mentor-in-chief, passing down decades of skill to the next generation of growers.

Oliver Long | Facilities Manager

The Problem Solver. Oliver has been an integral part of our fabric since 1996. His role goes far beyond facilities; he is the logistical mastermind ensuring our nursery operates like clockwork. From soil health analysis to machinery procurement and complex logistics, Oliver’s encyclopedic knowledge and ingenuity keep us moving. Whether it's pest management or site maintenance, Oliver finds the solution.

Norma Graves | Office & Accounts Manager

The Anchor. Norma brings order to our growth. With a Diploma from the RHS and decades of experience in the horticultural industry, she bridges the gap between the field and the finance department. Norma manages our accounts, HR, and compliance with precision, but her true value lies in her understanding of our product. She speaks the language of our customers, ensuring that every query is handled with professional horticultural insight.
