Nursery

The tree nursery is situated in the townland of Aherla, County Cork which is just 15 miles west of Cork City. It is easily accessible being just a 5 minute drive from the main Cork - Killarney road (N22). (see our location page for directions)

At over 600 feet above sea level, we grow 70,000 trees of more than 200 varieties on the nursery which is over 100 acres in size. It is ideally located to produce Irish trees for the Irish market.

With nearly 38 years experience in field production, the nursery is committed to the most advanced technological production methods while also being sympathetic to the surrounding environment. Staff are key to our business and our three Production Managers have over 40 years combined experience between them. We are committed to best practice standards as set by the largest European nurseries and every year research how best to improve our production techniques and utilise the latest machinery advances.

Trees ranging in height from 15m mature specimen trees, aging up to 35 years down to 2m bareroot trees are grown and supplied from our nursery. In line with customer requests we have expanded our product range and we now also supply a comprehensive range of conifers, hedging, and specimen plants.
